Just incase you've missed this because you don't use Google

Yay! Give away our privacy!!

BTW, with an 8 mBit cable, web-page loading times really don't bother me.
God got tired waiting all sunday for the world to compile and finaly had it.
On the Eight day, god created func_details, and he saw that it was fast.

By the way, when you say 'm' like that, it means micro. And when speaking in bits, it's a better practice to use lower case 'b', unless you're starting a sentence with the word.

But yes, I've got a 6Mb connection and loading isn't too bad normally. I'l be sure to upgrade to the cheaper 15Mb/s FiOS (that's what they're calling it) lines they're putting in (there's a 30Mb/s option too, but that costs more then any other option)
Google Web Accelerator uses various strategies to make your web pages load faster, including:

* Sending your page requests through Google machines dedicated to handling Google Web Accelerator traffic.
* Storing copies of frequently looked at pages to make them quickly accessible.
* Downloading only the updates if a web page has changed slightly since you last viewed it.
* Prefetching certain pages onto your computer in advance.
* Managing your Internet connection to reduce delays.
* Compressing data before sending it to your computer.
Those are all pretty common practices. The only thing that'd make it faster, since they're limiting the people who can use the thing is using a dedicated traffic line, or whatever you want to call it.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Wasn't there a problem with this where people would go to forums and were logged in with some unknown strangers account because of google caching things it shouldn't cache?

They are making a GBrowser. There was an article some where out there
on it. Also, Google has a store. They sell Google water bottles, bags,
towels, etc.
