Imade a simple wad in Wally with some textures, but when I try to get it into Hammer the textures doesn't appear in the Browse window. What did I wrong with that wad? or how should I make a wad that works with hl2?

Half Life 2 doesn't use the WAD format. You'll need to make custom content folders for .vtf files ( I think ).

I think there is an option under the File menu for converting WADs to VMTs.
