Nice find. I'll try it out if I come across a disc that shrink or decrypter can't handle.

We already knew this. Also, it doesn't always work, you'll, most times, will be able to at least copy an entire dvd ... but dvd shrink still may not be able to compress it (Sky High and Flight Plan both do this as I've experienced). (DVD fab decryptor makes a backup which cannot fit into a DVD5 disc.)
To fix it past that point you have to mess with the IFO files, since it's some funky work around that's stopping it from being compressed. That or buy DVD9s and just use Fab Decryptor and have 1:1 copies of everything.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I never had a problem compressing a large DVD onto a 4.5 gig disc.
I had a problem with that stupid copy protection issue. YOU didn't help me solve THAT!.
This new program, which you either didn't mention, or I was stupid enough not to notice you did helped me.
Comprende'?
All I needed was to be able to get past that stupid "redundant error/Invalid DVD navigation structure" message.
Now if you have another program that can also get past the copy protection issue, I am all ears. My other programs will gladly compress anything I need.
The best things in life, aren't things.

I know, you were having a CDC error. And since DVD shrink doesn't check past an error many times, it puts it up a lot (also it's parsing through the file ... while fab dvd simply copies it ... and removes the protection, which is held in VIDEO_TS.IFO, I believe)
Anyway, try copying Flight Plan, then say dvd shrink can compress anything
I'm sure I mentioned it before however. And yes, there are thousands of programs that will remove the protection on DVDs. One of which is on the site you linked.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Don't try copying flight plan, as I assume it's not out on general video release yet and therefore you can't legally own it.
And remember piracy is illegal and not talked about on these boards, thanks.

Flight Plan has been out on DVD here since the 24th of January, Gwil.
You had no issues with Flight Plan ... why does it max out my page file when I try backing it up ... weird.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

You're clearly talking about piracy - don't try and argue the point.
No piracy.
End of discussion.
