i am currently building my website and am implimenting a phpbb forum

but i know nothing about customizing them and am now using a really crappily made skin that i really don't like

so if anyone knows anything about it i would like to learn a little on how to make my own look

However, you should realize "PHPBB" isn't a language, or something like that, it's just a template written using PHP (php.net is a good source for reference) (I think they supply the database portion too, not sure)

You should also be aware that the framework has already been completed, so there isn't much you can do to change the page unless you want to get into a lot of coding yourself.

But, the looks of that type of stuff is written using Cascading Style Sheets, so start there.

Not much else to say, really.

yeah i knew it wasn't a language i'm justing using a forum format from phpbb because it's free

thanks for the links though, i think nickel can help me with some of it

This website was originally built on PHPBB actually. Scary_Jeff and Lep coded it at first (Scary_Jeff taught Lep to code). Now the website kinda runs itself, with the occasional decomposition of old rotting code!?
