If you think it takes long to finish a map, than try to finish a mod with the highest possible quality. Wow that takes years.

Also I thought I might add a quick question. I have been trying to find a free, third party modeling program for ages. Does anyone know where I can find one. Please

Google for Gmax (think that's what it's called) and milkshape.

Well, I'm taking years trying to finish a map mate, once i learn how to finish my maps properly, I might start thinking of joining a mod.
I know how much a mod takes though, been around the adminastrative side of some mods before aswell as helping develop just the concept of some mods.
Never done any level design for any mods though.

Hey I've left a couple of times myself, but this site...
... is addictive!
You actually start missing all the people on here, the whitty comments, looking at eachotheres maps, stuff like that.
Snarkpit won't die anytime soon that's for sure, ofcourse, it can have it's quiter moments, but I guess you Orph, and few otheres are REALLY active around here, the rest are just casual forummers that post every once in a while, but they do they're bit  and we do ours.

But I guess you have been around for somewhat longer than me anyway.

I can personally guarantee that the only people whom think a discussion pointless, are the ones not posting.

If there is any discussion what so ever, the parties involved have a point.

I will admit that sometimes a pointless person makes a topic decline a bit but fortunately, there aren't many of those left here.

your discussing the value of discussion, something that doesn't need to be discussed as it is a fact.

Point made.

<DIV class=quotetext>your discussing the value of discussion, something that doesn't need to be discussed as it is a fact.

Everyone who posts, has a point. However their points value has no baring sometimes with regards to the topic, and becomes a distraction. That however does not reduce the point to valuelessness.

Right this moment, we are not discussing Nickelbag. Our discussion has no value on that but right this moment I am thinking that you sound like Doc Rock. He would pop in and post something exactly like you did and wait to see the firestorm. When it failed, he would go away in a huff and show up a few days later.

I am waiting to see if the similarity ends with this thread, or ventures elsewhere.

Again let me stress. The only ones thinking a post has no point, are the ones not posting. Otherwise any post has one, even if the post point is to cause harm... Which we will all agree is a point, albeit not a preferred one.

(Any similarity between you and Mr. Rock may be totally unintentional. However, the similarity is noteworthy and as such, is a point.)
