When I try to access the console or create a new game (both in SvenCoop) this message appear:

--Half-Life------------------------------------------------------------------------------
could not load library C:\Documents and Settings\...\HALF-LIFE\SVENCOOP\cl_dlls\client.dll
I've checked and the client.dll file is there! :leper:

I've already done that! That doesn't seem to be the problem...

There might be something wrong with the dll file, or there might be a directory issue, like if you don't have half-life installed in C:Documents and Settings...HALF-LIFE then that's the problem. But most likely the dll is messed up. Right click and save this -> sven co-op client dll

and if worse comes to worse, just re-install it. (you have to because you seem to have simply moved the game- Lep.)
hope that helps.

The problem started after I moved SvenCoop to C:\Program\Steam\SteamApps\otzman@hotmail.com, so that I could play it online, and then moved it back to C:\Documents and Settings\...\HALF-LIFE.

You actually moved your Svencoop folder after installation ? No wonder it screwed up ...

I said reinstall it in my other post. That?s what you'll have to do. If you want it installed in steam then install it there. Why the hell did you move it to your documents and settings folder? Did you want it installed on your desktop?

If you moved half-life, you'll have to re-install that as well, unless you want to go through the registry and change all the path names by hand.
But it would be much more time effective to re-install it all. Secondly in Sven Co-ops there is a bat file which you have to run after installation, into steam or won. It?s some useless stuff, but it has to be there nonetheless.

Also, just to say, no one can solve this problem unless in your first post you say EXACTLY what you did before it happened. No one is psychic.

P.S. Did you even try using the client.dll file I put up?

I moved it to the documents and settings folder because HL is installed there in a folder. I guess I have to reinstall SvenCoop... I think that's the best thing to do, and of course I tried your client.dll !!! It didn't work!

Dunno why this answer is marked as "correct"...

Lep changed it.

Because I gave you a solution. Re-installing it.
It's even highlighted in red. . .

I honestly don't know why this is being such a big problem, is it too big to download or something? If you wanted to play it online, do you mean it giving the "half-life is out of date" error?

Because if so, you have to install steam and update that half-life, obviously, 1.1.1.0 or whatever, was the last WON HL, there are two more that are newer, but they are steam only. And to make it work in steam you have to re-install it, you can't just move it.
