How can i get the old hl1 npcs into a hl2 map im making with hammer? Please tell me if you know.

The models? or the actual NPC? Models its possible..sorta - you'll replace the combine model with that of one of the soldier

If its the actual NPC then its not possible, because its not built into HL2 like it is for HL1. You'd need to code them in basically.

Ok thanks but how would i replace the combine soliders with the hl1 grunts? They are 2 different types of model files. Is there a specific program that will convert the mdl's into the files that hl2 uses?
