Hi there, peeps, it's been a while since I've shown my face here. Glad to see that the pit is still roaring its ugly head !

I became involved in the Nuclear Dawn (http://www.nuclear-dawn.net) modification. I'm doing the Linux Build, as some 2d work.

In our recent newspost, we requested some extra animators, and I thought I'd just post the request here too, since I recall this board had some talented peeps.
We're looking for 2-3 experienced animators to help out with a few first-person weapon animations, various animation cycles (run, crouch, jump, etc.) and some simple third-person weapon holding poses.

We'd prefer it if you work in 3DS Max 8, but anything that can output animation to 3DS Maxs 3.5 - 9, Cinema 4D, FragMotion, Gmax, Mayas 4-7, Milkshape 3D, or Softimage/XSI would be fine.

Having experience of working in HL2 or compiling models to HL2 is a definite plus, but not an absolute requirement. However, we must specify we are really looking for individuals with at least 6 months' animation experience under their belt.
