What kind of deals do people have for broadband in the UK. I'm looking at getting it at home...

The cheapest I've seen is ?16 a month for 128kbs. Bearing in mind the benefit of having a phone line free. I pay ?16 a month for my dial up ISP. so I may as well change. Does anyone know of any better deals (I won't pay more than ?16 anyway.)

It's about 65 euro a month here, horrah for Ireland. No wonder there's pots of f**king gold all over the place, it's my damn money!

We pay ?42.50 a month with Telewest for 512K, phone line rental, and about 70 cable channels (most of them suck). I think the normal price for 512K is ?25 a month, and with cable you get the modem free (maybe ADSL modems are free now as well, I don't know).

[edit] why did you say '(not a joke)' ? [/edit]

I got NTL Cable, 24.99 a month for 600k. I think it was around 50 installation. Not bad at all.

ISDN sucks ass, unless you only pay for one line's rental and you don't get double the dial-up cost... check the fine print though

Yeah, keep in mind that with 128k ISDN, you will require TWO phone lines. With one line only, the maximum capacity you can send or receive is 64k.

I would DEFINITELY go with cable or dsl if that were an option.

Gav is the 128k ISDN or just bad DSL? When looking around, be sure to check out your download limit for the month. You'd be suprised how fast you can rack it up.
