Could you give us some more information, maybe tell us a bit more about the map(s?) and give us some more screenshots. Maybe even a download link so we can play the map and give you advice.

From what I can see, it looks decent but I need more to look at.

Oh, and don't play Half-life in software mode, go into your video configurations and change to open GL mode  .

Whats the difference between open-gl and software?

-) open GL not compatible with my nvidia g-force 5600, monsters are all white!!!

Its because It's v1.1 and I need to change some things to improve it, and i'll try to publish a recent version of it soon.

+I have extreme landmarks problems and the map pack is only 13% complete lol, it a 12 maps map pack.

A GeForce 5600 should be able to run in OpenGL mode unless there's some driver issue going on. Or try Direct-3D maybe. Even an integrated video card or laptop should be able to run Half-Life 1 with video acceleration at this point.

If you can only get it to run in software mode, "yer doin' it wrong".

Yes, you should be able to Half-life in OpenGL, I think its highly likely that you have the incorrect or old drivers for your graphics card.

Well, the most important difference is that in Software mode, you can only have a maximum of 800 polygons on screen at any one time. This means that excess polygons won't be rendered and it will cause, if you have exceeded your limit at any one time, parts of the level to 'flicker' in and out of existence.

Software mode is also very pixelated (Like the original Doom and Quake games) Where as OpenGL is slightly blurred, which sounds like a bad thing but it really isn't.

There are also things like fog in the water in OpenGL and many of Spirit of Half-life's features won't work in any other mode than OpenGL.

Direct3D is almost the same as OpenGL, but its far less supported and tends not to work for some people.

But yeah... I need more media before I can give you my thoughts on your maps!

Hmmm...The areas from the second and third screen shot can be darker for a nice grave effect.
