Peace is our profession. Mass murder's just a hobby.

I'm allergic to tequila, it makes me break out in felonies.

Achluophobia n. Fear of the dark

This map was predominantly inspired by Natural Selection, with its dark and brooding maps with loads of maintenance passageways and crawlspaces.

THE 'PIT HATH SPOKEN. I'm revealing for the 'pit to critique my third foray into Source mapping. Set in a mine, just like Bloody Ore 1, this map focuses on the underground tunnels instead of topside structures, which was Bloody Ore's downfall. A small "easter-egg" in the skybox can be seen -- the main elevator structures of BO1 :P.

Some features of the map include the more powerful and dangerous weapons in hard-to-reach areas, an exploding shack, phys_cannisters (gas tanks that fly around like rockets when shot) and most importantly almost no lag.

The people that have joined my test server liked it, but I'd like to hear what my fellow Snarkers have to say.

Numerous things have been accomplished with this: I've gotten out of the HL1 mindset when Source mapping; I'm using more curves instead of 45-degree angles, for instance.

What's quite dark, VERY smelly, and is a breeding ground for some B-movie monsters?

Simple. It's Floaters! One of my completed maps that's just been sitting around with a dumb look on its face, set in a vast network of sewers. I'm finally dusting it off and releasing it. I've strewn about a large amount of MP5s as per the request of my fellow CHZers, and (reluctantly) included the crossbow, although you have to go for a swim to get it (ew).

While it's no Antareus Core, it's still quite fun, and watching someone fall into the River O' Poo while they're trying to blow off your head is funny.

Small lab equipment

in Half-Life » Prefabs

Small lab equipment. Three beakers, a test-tube rack, a microscope and a laptop. Relatively low-poly, and all but the test tube rack can easily be placed in the map multiple times. All are breakable.
