My name's Artur Schmidt. I live in Koszalin (north side of country), medium city in Poland. I've started playing Counter-Strike three years ago, editing maps - two years ago. From all games I (very) like: Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Unreal Tournament, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, GTA, Need fof Speed.

BRIEFING:

Few years later, somewhere in deep space where human species are exploring the universe, terrorism still exist. Terrorists are waiting now for adequate time to attack.

It's time... The expedition's space ship's trajectory is near to the terrorists hiding-place. It's rightly occasion to steal the ship. First of all they have to destroy main core to make escape impossible. But first time something goes wrong and first stormers has died. So the second drop goes ...

ABOUT THE MAP:

This map is a pure Demolition version of de_spaceship_fy map. It should be just named 'de_spaceship', but this phrase had been used for the other map. Other important thing - previous version wasn't stable, now it's fixed.

De_deepspace and de_spaceship_fy are kind of unussual sci-fi maps for the CS:S. They have the story, unique theme and climate. I hope you enjoy it.

MAIN DIFFERENTS FROM DE_SPACESHIP_FY:
  • Fixed 'no free edicts' error,
  • Added buyzones, deleted forced equipment,
  • Most of the lying weapons are deleted,
  • Two new ways between BS A and B (shortcuts),
  • Improved shadows on some surfaces,
  • Some areas are a bit more optimized,
  • Some corrections of a soundscape.

Correction (!):

The .res file (it is a list of files for server's client to to download all of materials need for current map) have mistake. This is the link to fixed file:

It's recommended specially for the servers.

Notice:

1. Hostages are like penguins. They can't use ladders.
2. If You want to have a fun, play with many players on this map. It's a little big one.

Briefing:

Terrorists have taken control over the science laboratory somewhere in Arctic. They planning to escape with the new type of virus and sell them at the black market. They attacked when some of blocks of the complex are closed, and at the night when there isn't many guards. The silent alert has been activated and counter-terrorists are coming. Terrorists have taken four hostages to try a trade with CTs.

About the map:

This map is dedicated to CS:S servers with many slots (CT/T spawns: 32 - max players: 64). The map is a little big so I think 3 minutes per round isn't correct time to rescue the hostages with breaking through the enemy lines. 4 or even 3.5 minutes should be OK. Generally there are 3 ways to hostages, but only 2 You can use to transport hostages (they can't use a ladder). You have to get them on the helipad or to APCs (2 rescue zones).

Experimental plants complex. Remember, "plants" - not warriors. That they are in this place - it was only my imagination, which appeared from paper to the computer.
There are 5 areas:
  • On the North is small room with plants and small hole in the roof. Also there is hidden in brushes enterance to the small canal. In center is compare to the H&K MP210.
  • Estern side of the map - it's storage with many crates. In this area is shotgun. Under the rooftop is control room.
  • Southern side of the complex - railway station. There also is "gauss".
  • In Western side is big room with plants - something like a park with river and lamps. Under the
bridge are "snarks".
  • Center of the map are bridges covered glass. Under the bridges is water where is "hornetgun".

Black Hawk UH-60

in Half-Life » Prefabs

This is modyfication of prefarb made by Kevin Quang (megalixer@hotmail.com). A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk transport helicopter for use in an airbase map or for those repelling marines seen in the game. Its not an exact replica beacause I wanted to keep the face count down but it is very close. There are two machineguns in b.h. The main rotor and tail rotor uses a func_rotate but can be removed if desired. There is also an ambient_generic on the rotor with an apache like sound. I left it pretty much green but thats how the real Blackhawk looks so it works fine but add any decals to your liking.
