DESC
DE_SUBWAY is a bomb defuse map for CS:S

Counter-Terrorists: Prevent Terrorists
from bombing the subway tracks. As you
travel down the track make sure to keep
away from the third rail and oncoming trains.

Terrorists: The Terrorist carrying the
C4 must place the bomb at one of the two
bomb sites at the end of the tunnel.
As with the CT's watch that third rail
and oncoming trains.

This is my first map. I used it as a means to learn
Hammer and get ready for the release of DoD:S

I hope you enjoy it.
INSTALLATION:
Unrar this file in your counter-strike source/cstrike/maps directory.

ChangeLOG:

Ver 2 12/14/04
1. Geometry added to Train path to help prevent sound leak and problems with the source engine. (Possible BUG)
2. Bomb zones enlarged to make it easier for the T's to plant
3. Made T spawn less crowded to make getting out easier.
4. Addition of a duct to facilitate passage from one upper platform to another.
5. Additional exit for CT's
6. Added wall to T's spawn exit to help balance game.

If i were gonna relaese an update i woudl of changed it more. It dosnet look dirty enof for a subway. It is too spacy for a subway and the light ing is all the same

Agreed, it looks really barren to me, theres nothing really exciting going on with the brushwork there,a lot of it feels like a box with some props shoved it in to be honest. Add some more variety to your walls and floors, buttresses, stairs, that kind of stuff. Your texture choice is also quite bizzare in places.

My advice would be to pick your favourite area of the map and work on turning it into an interesting place, pay more attention to the overall structure of the rooms, as well as the details, lighting and props that fill them.

There you go Reno. Man, ever have one of those days? :-)

Had a quick look at the screenshots - it's incredibly bare and could do with less dead space. In its current state it looks like a HL1 map coverted quickly to Source - give it some more loving

I can't comment on gameplay as I haven't touched CS for years.

Man-O TPF, fix the links - I think your host doesn't like remote linking

Try there in the meantime for screenshots.
