Since the release of HL2 SDK I've been messing about trying to learn the art of MP mapping, doing basic rooms, physics, etc.
Having learnt so much I thought I'd give creating a map a try. I didn't want to start with anything too complicated so that's why (or one of the reasons why) I chose the old HLDM map Gasworks.
Most people will know Gasworks map from HLDM; It's a little bland texture and detail wise, but it is my first map and that's why I felt comfortable doing it. Apart from that, it used to be one of my favourites.
Anyway, I've attempted to integrate a couple of physics items into the map but I've remained faithful to the original design and look ? though don?t quote me on that.
Funny how valve didnt code water to act like water e.g. you place it in mid air and it just floats but in real life gravity would make it fall and travel along the floor
