This is my entry for the Valve mapping contest.
I believe I'm nearing the end of making this beast, just a few things left like fixing all the bugs and perfecting the gameplay.
It's based around a few waterfront houses with a highway/road going through the middle which goes into 2 tunnels at either end.
Wow thanks guys!
the boathouse idea was in my mind and since it has been brought up I have put one on there :P
I'll try get the screenshots updated soon as the current ones is just the land with some houses slapped on there
/me gets back to work

It looks like a great map! I think this is one of the only maps I?ve seen that isn't dark and dreary looking!
Looks like it could be a perfect match with the existing Highway 17 levels - Toss that in with them and I can't tell the difference. Looks incredible, keep it up.

That is seriousl the best hl2 map i've seen so far, it's so nice and realistic
way to go, it's realy nice
i recon this will bring the life back into hl2dm
You're too modest. The screenshots look almost photorealistic, and you've definitely achieved a high degree of realism in your map.
However, from what I can see so far, the complexity of architecture could use some improvement. This would not only enhance the gameplay, but also elevate the ambience. Perhaps add a dock or a boat house? I see you already have a shed of some sort.
What about a lighthouse? That'll add some vertical play and character. Lighthouses always play a pivotal role in a coastal scene.
I know that's a lot more work, but you are soliciting ideas by posting the map here.
