The two best rats maps I have seen are dm_studyroom & dm_intel_final, with studyroom playing very well and a lot of fun. Here are some screenshots I took:

very cool. Physics pencils and coins that stick into walls like the saw
blades :smile:
I found Mapcore but I can't find the coins/pendcil pictures. The WIP thread looks as old as this one.

Photomerge is an automatic tool. Merely take a few photos that overlap, then go to file --> Automate --> photomerge (in photoshop) and it will build a picture. You can make better panoramics with it.
