This was created out of me being fed up with pitiful re-makes of assault. If you're playing in source use it to its full extent. Granted, I'm not the bast mapper, i still need to work on getting the vis process down, but I think that I did a decent remake. Theres some new fun additions to this map. The CT's can destoy a junction box locate on the outside of the Warehouse to cut all the lights in the warehouse except for red emergency lights. gives a great new edge in gameplay. The T's can similarily destroy the satelite dish on top of the CT's intelligene building and knwo out their video feed. I would really love some feedbacka s this is one of my first semi-well done maps.
Note: The skybox and some of the smaller details are still being worked on, but the level geometry and lighting is done for the most part.
I have to say I've already fallen in love with this remake of it just
from looking at it drools this only makes me wanna work harder and
get better as a cs s mapper.
Well, I'm probably one of the few CS fans around here, so if you manage
to get some space to upload it, I'll certainly give it a run-through.
I'm a fan of CS too, and I'd be happy to do the same.

Yeah I made those arches when i was first blocking out the map and they
never made it to the cutting room floor. Thanks. I'll upload some pics
of the warehouse shortly.
Yours looks pretty good so far and much better than my remake which I gave up on... (maybe I will finish it in the future)
Anyway I played a remake similar to yours but I prefer that one because of the sunset, good props, and excellent architecture!

Yeah as i said, this map is made for me to refine my
skills, more so than to have a really good playing map. Theres to many
assault re-makes out there, and I won't try to compete yet. Im still
getting used to optimizing maps for playability and this map needs
help. The 3d skybox needs lots of polishing as does the interior of the
warehouse ( I HATE the lighting). Though i've managed to make it so
that when a transformer outside the building is blown up the warehouse
goes dark save a few emergeny red lights, it really incourages the CT's
to get night vis goggles. The map is not ready for play in any sense of
the word. I really would like suggestions on how to optimize it and
increase the playability so i can apply it to my future maps. I'm
looking towards the more experienced mappers to help me along my way.
Well the map could be put into a pit if LEP is still doing that, or there are many on-line free storage options.. fail all of that send it to me, i'll put it on my web space for a limited time until another option can be found.
Looks alright from the pictures.. I have always hated that map though. But I am willing to give it a try.. it cant be any worse than the current ones out there... im hoping its far better to be honest.

After vewing others remakes im going back and ovehauling a LOT of this. The screens currently are in tranisition ones. I am new to most of this and really love it. So any comment is helpfull. I stated out with a re-make to get my feet wet in the mapping world. Working my way up to a decent original map.
