Half-Life Cen Com 9 Storage Facility (new)

You are Gordon Freeman, no longer a scientist, but a security guard at a storage facility in an unknown area. Your job was simple, to make sure only authorized personnel go through the teleporter that connects the facility to the experiment lab for quick deliveries. One day while at your post, your partner leaves to go make a routine check, but never comes back. Soon monsters are surrounding your post! You lock the door and hope for the best, since your partner had the only gun authorized to be in your section of the facility, and not you.
Main Map Objective:
1.Work your way to the main security station in the facility, sound the alarm and open the teleporter doors.
2.Teleport to the lab and look for survivors.
3.Head to the elevator that leads to the surface.

Starlabs is my special project, my little love.

For more information about Starlabs you should really visit the website. What I will give, is some background information.

The idea for Starlabs was conceived in the summer of 2002 during a trip to Sydney, Australia. Soon thereafter, I started 'production' and quickly I had written down a story, created a website and released some media. Eversince, Starlabs has undergone quite a few phases, all improving it one step at a time. The most important phase was the decision to rebuilt everything that had been built after 18 months of production. Though the process was time consuming, it was definitely worth the effort.

Right now, Starlabs is scheduled for a summer release, hopefully on my birthday. (Which, for you curious folk, is on the 13th of August.. ;) Right now, it seems that Starlabs should be done by then...

Half-Life Hybrid Theory: Office

Hybrid Theory is a single-player modification that bears resemblance to both Resident Evil and They Hunger. You'll be a police officer who goes in to investigate... stuff.
I don't think this will come to light outside of an open-source package, and since I'm feverishly working my open-source (and some new stuff) into a horrible HL1 mappack, you won't be able to get the source until the mappack's released.

This single-player minmod is my first attempt at a HL1SP. There are a bunch of secrets....soo...whoppde frickn do.

There are a lot of gameplay bugs in this but oh well. If I ever polish this up for HL2 (unlikely) or HL:S (even more unlikely since I don't have it) then those would be fixed. If you get stuck, PM me and I will show you what to do, you idiot.

Funny looking back at a map you made some time ago and realizing how many things could be improved.

Screenshots are outdated...soo...to see actual in game screenshots then play it.

Also....the game plays better in WON...well..not really...but I took a lot of time to make menus and such for WON that don't show up in Steam, as the menus arent the same. Game runs fine in WON and Steam. Enjoy

Half-Life Myhouse

This was my very first map and was obviously used for learning purposes. I created it using a Dutch tutorial on how to map and was hugely proud of it. ("I MADE SOMETHING IN HALF-LIFE!! W00tw00t!!!11~~")

Though now it looks butt-ugly, it IS what got me into level design. It holds a special place in my heart. Erm, I think..

Regardless; the map was made in the spring / summer of 2002.

Half-Life Museum Lockdown

The architecture for this map was inspired by the Laurentian Library (http://www.patbelford.com/projects/michelangelo/simulation/index.html) in Florence. The library was designed by Michelangelo in the Renaissance, and it's one of my favorite buildings in the world.

SCENARIO:
You are trapped inside a museum in Paris, after an international gang of thieves have taken some priceless art from the museum. The museum's security system has been triggered, and the SWAT team have moved in, with order to shoot to kill.

Unable to convince the police that you're not one of the art thieves, you must fight your way out, and figure out a way to deactivate the lockdown mode of the museum.

It's got some intense grunt battle. Brace yourself for it.

P.S. Some puzzle solving is required to beat this map.

Half-Life MINIMICUS

Minimicus is my recently released single-player mod for Half-Life. It has been reviewed at Hangar16 and got 4 out of 5 stars! During the game, the player gets shrunk and fights grunts and headcrabs that are invading a house. This mod includes an interesting cut-scene involving a microwave and a Gonarch. Half-life: New Recruits is a uniqe map pack that canges the play experiance from a mindless fight to survive, to a workplace simulation. Play as a technician arriving at Black Mesa for the first time along with other new emplyees, go through a brief on the job training experiance and go through areas of the ficility doing what maintance technicians do, fix things. That is until the Invasion breaks loose and you are forced to fight for your life with only small arms and anything else you can find.
