Counter Strike Source DE_STATION2STATION

DE_S2S simulates a desert enviorement, including sun, wind and dust effects. It's a objective based map too, terrorist must control one of two zones if they want access to the bomb site. Once they are able to activate a generator or a hidro plant, a train starts and crash against the fortress. They can ride it and travel fast and safe to bomb site. Then strategy changes radically, defenders must attack and vice versa.

Recommended players: 20 min. 40 max, but if your server can stand against 50, go for it.

Bots included (advice: long loads times).

Requirements:

CPU 2GHz or better, 512MB main memory, a graphic card with 64MB (128MB recommended).

Counter Strike Source de_laras_mansion

This map is based on Lara Croft's mansion from the computer game series 'Tombraider'

The objective is the terrorists must either blow up Lara's secret underground computer network or disable her com satellites on the roof of her mansion.

The bots seem to work ok but they don't really go upstairs much and they never seem to go on the roof which is kinda weird since on my first map (cs_bedbugs) they seemed happy enough hurling themselves like lemmings from the top of the level, they also have a habit of drowning themselves, takes alsorts I guess.

It took me a while to make this map as I've had to choose which bits to use from 'Tombraider II' and 'Tombraider III' and I've also thrown in a few extra rooms and staircases/corridors myself just to make the map more accessible and playable for counterstrike.

Most noticably I've added a wine cellar which extends to a large basement where she keeps her 'landrover on steroids' and big stash of weapons (and no you can't pick up the weapons... or drive her landrover for that matter)
The attic has been extended and now has skylights which give you access to the roof. I've made alot of the windows breakable however some of them are much narrower to get through than others so watch out for that.
The swimming pool roof is also breakable and most of the assault course you can play around on too. I've also included the maze from 'Tombraider II' in here so don't come crying to me if you get lost as you have just been warned. There are a few things I haven't mentioned but I'm sure you'll find them when you play it. Hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did building it.

This is a new counter-strike source map that I started working on. It is based off of a 1.6 map that I had made. Nothing is set in stone yet, so and comments or constructive critisism is welcome. The pictures are mostly of the terrorist spawn.

the gas tanks consist of the biohaz tanks from de_train.

the maps choke points are the lab and outside

ct's start near both bomb sites so they have the advantage

The bomb targets are indicated with site A and B tags.

Notes:

The map is the exact copy of the commercial center.
I took a picture of the emergency evacuation map and used it as a template.
I also took a lot of pictures of the center itself for dimensions and textures purpose.
The v2 will be more detailed and with less reflection/tiny brushes problems.
here is a lot of reflections.
If this affects your machine, you can set mat_specular to 0 in the cobsole (take several seconds).

Counter Strike Source cs_militia_night

This is a remake of the classic counter-strike map cs_militia. The layout should be almost completely the same, except for some minor things like displacements and added props, so gameplay should be very similar.

Some of the changes include (but are not limited to :) ):
Map is set at night and the map is illuminated by multiple
spotlights on telephone poles
Boxes break more realistically (Each side at a time)
The fence is originally closed and locked with a padlock that
the CTs can shoot off, and then push open the door
More detailed sewers (work in progress) and sewer entrance
Many detailed/realistic additions such as moving blinds and
other physics objects

I'd just like to get an idea of what you all think; I know there are already some other militia maps out, but they mostly just took the old map and retextured it. Since this was one of our favorite maps, we decided that it deserved a remake using some of the real features of HL2 instead of just retexturing and repackaging.

Oh, and depending on how this map catches on, we already have plans to expand this map in a version 2, which will have enhanced gameplay (i.e. a new route through the mountains that the cts may take and other little additions)

March 1 UPDATE: We've been working a lot, and the work we've done is very good in my opinion. We've slowed down considerably, however, as the time spent on extra detail increases. Because of that we've pushed back the release date, though the map MUST be done by that time because that's when the map competition is due. A version suitable for beta testing should be ready soon!

This map is a remake of an old ghost recon map i loved, with some slight changes to take accont for CSS gameplay. The old ghost recon map was called docks so i decided to keep the name.The terrorists start out in a heavily bombed area of the map and try to plant a bomb in the CT's office building. IT can alternatly be a hostage recue map.
