Take a photograph of a nice cliff, and use that as a texture.

You wannah know how to make a cliff look good? First off, upgrade ur computer (If it sucks) then purchase HL2. Then install it, dload Steam and the Source SDK. Open that, then select the mod you want and open Hammer. Once you have done that, make a block which you would use for you cliff, select the vertical face (Which is the one which must be the cliff) in texure mode, click on 'Displacements' and click "Create". Then click on 'Paint Geometry' and make your nice realistic cliff  Remember to set a decent cliff texure as well.

I know, a bit of a long winded explanation

In other words, if you want a cliff to actualy look 'nice' then you will have to go Source.

Why did you feel the need to dredge up a 3-month-old question which has already been answered, and offer a suggestion which does not contribute to the topic?

He just loves spamming, heh James? Now if a mod sees this thread he should lock it so nobody else will post.

His spam, is no less pointless than yours.

Which one of you should I punish? You for being a prick, or him for breaking the rules?

Think on that while I decide.
