America has enough holidays already. We don't need no stinkin more. :heee:

I swear. There are but 365 days in a year and 745 holidays so far. Pretty soon, no one will have to work for the celebrations. :leper:

(please excuse the slight exaggeration, there be but 744 holidays but it sounded less important so I boosted it one)

Wasn't it the Romans who had a holiday every other day? I don't think we need to worry  "On with the partying!" I say.

Unfortunately, I don't like star wars
Breaking the laws of mapping since 2003 and doing a damn fine job at it

That's because they had enough gods to warrant it
Also change the texture of the dock. Docks are rarely tile. -Facepunch

With that thought, perhaps we should jump on the Catholicism bandwagon. One God, one holiday. :heee:

I can dig it.

It's local election day here. Time to go and show our dislike of Blair (again).

That's funny because I once spoke to an American living in Vienna who said it appears like we have twice as many holidays than the US. We have a lot of old catholic holidays - hardly anyone knows what to celebrate - but we get a day off so we defened them. Even the non-religious people

sorry to ruin a bad joke orph but,
catholics probably have more holidays than any other religion (don't
quote me on that), because of our large numbers of saints almost every
day of the year is dedicated to one or the other, if i wanted to, i
think i could legally take most of my school year off for religious
holidays

/me knows bud. I only said it in relation to "Many Gods = Many holidays... One God = One Holiday"

Nevermind.. It was a crappy joke.

Just a little Star Wars note, if anyone still cares, Lucas Arts has decided to re-release the Trilogy on DVD, but this time, along with the 2004 cuts they'll have the original theatrical cuts as well, in the same pack.

HOWEVER, they are EXACTLY like the theatrical cuts ... no revived video, 2.0 Dolby Audio ... not touched up at all. So, if that's what you want, It'll be released in September (US) sometime.

Personally, I think the 2004 cuts are fine except for two things in Return of the Jedi ... one was added in 1997 the other in 2004.

Continue your petty 'discussion' on holidays and, yet again, religion.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.
