Can't do much without a name, think of an identifying characteristic (some weird message or website the virus associates with) and Google it. Or run some kind of anti-spyware (ad aware, spybot or something) or (even better) AVG.. even if it can't fix the problem it will give you the name, then you can google that for step by step removal instructions...

have you tryed any sort of malware scans?

If not try spybot search and destroy, and AVG anti virus. Both are free, look for them on google

Seems to be an answer here: http://castlecops.com/t158232-tfthot_exe_and_other_issues.html

Try it at your own risk. It seems the thing you downloaded opens a lot of tasks (80s) and bloats up the registry and takes over IE (like most viruses)

There's other solutions, I think.
http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=115408&st=15

They may or may not be talking about this specifically. Why don't you research it more?

Again. Follow the instructions at your own risk.

And, just to note, your friend didn't send you a message saying he found an image of you, the virus did. Image12 is a common name for it too, I believe.

Get some virus protection when you get this sorted out. It's just stupid to go online with out it.

Chances are by now you have more than just this. Get cleaning.

You need to scan your computer with virus detection and adware detection so you can find out WHAT to remove.

How exactly is anyone suppose to help? You've been told what you need to do. Scan the computer with various tools which will either remove the problem for you or will tell you what the virus/adware/spyware IS so you can remove it yourself.

If you give a list of viruses, then we can help. Otherwise, you're on your own. No one can magically fix it for you.

This was all stated before I even posted. Try it first. Or list what you found.

Run in safe mode, empty your internet cache, scan with all three programs, one after another, not at the same time, then restart in safe mode again, and scan with all three again, restart normally, post the results. Do not go on the internet while in safe mode.

Also try and break up your sentences with commas and periods. Please.

Capital letters would be a charm, too.

ByteVerify resets the permissions on your computer to allow other programs to execute whatever commands they please.

Symantec has some info. on it. You can just scan with whatever scanner you have, everything else should be the same:

If the s**t really hits the fan, try formatting and re-installing XP.
This is however the final solution that should not be considered unless
everything else has failed.

You mean, deleting the partition. Formating inside windows will never do anything.

I could probably fix this, but not enough information is being given. You don't seem to know what you need to do to fix it. so. If you go to that resort, at least, do it in a manner where the infections will be gone!

The only way I see of fixing the viruses for sure is to format your hard drive.

You may be able to save data, but do not put it back on your machine until after you have the virus protection on. Mcaffee is good for preventing viruses, not removing them.

Why does no one understand what formatting does?

Anyway. It sounds like whatever AV you used simply deleted the files without repairing them.

I can't find any reference to the first two dll files you like, chances are, the virus is still there, but it is unable to find its resources (Meaning, that they are still present in the registry. Chances are, eventually, they will rejuvenate by redownloading the missing files). The .net error can be easily remedied by either repairing or reinstalling the .net framework, which is free and can be found here.

The best thing to do at the moment, I think, since this is the easiest to explain in this manner, is to look at your processes, for every process you don't recognize, do a google search. You should be able to find full detailed information on what the process is and if you should/can turn it off/delete it or not.

That's about all unless you have more specific questions.
