Hello people!

Snarkpit used to have a HL2DM server with a very good map cycle.
I am interested to have something like this again!

A friend of mine and I want to join up and rent a 32 slot server loaded with Snarkpit-Maps. Sometimes there will be a game-switch to DoD:Source (maybe CS:S), though.

Since we are very interested in your work it would be a pleasure for us to run your custom maps on it.
Note that there will be a 32 slot TeamSpeak server as well.
We aren't 100% sure if we can get this baby online, but stay tuned for news.

You'd be free to join the game- and the TS-server and open to donate or not. Just tell me what you think of it.

peace, love, etc - ding.

Sounds like a great idea, and if you're serious about helping the
members get help with playtesting I support you even more. I'll have a
look see into what I can do regarding donations, the old HL2 server
died because we couldn't pay for it altogether.

I hope this works out and comes into being!

If we can work out the logistics of the postal system, I'll donate a portion.

I don't trust banks and I own no credit cards, so the postal service is the only option I have.

Sounds noble. I, too, neither own credit cards, trust banks or do internet-transactions in general. But I always found a way to sent money for certain community server projects before, when I felt it was really worth it. Which seems to be the case here.

Would this be in Europe or the US?
Why snark works.

I have a dedicated server that I maintain for a friend that nobody (and I mean nobody) plays on. I'd be glad to set up a server for you guys -- my friend could care less what game it is running as long as it's populated.

If you guys are interested, just let me know.

The IP addresses are:
66.29.97.152:27015
66.29.97.153:27015

Check if the latency is adequate, if you wish. The server is located in New Jersey.

wow that's nice Alex!

Having a server in the United States is nice stuff since not everybody here is living in/near Europe.

Having multiple servers also sounds good to me.

Thanx Alex, and I'll be sure to check the ping soonish.

I would like someone to host PitCrew soon, even if the server eventually ends up not being HL1.
