Of course, you don't get anything for doing all of this. So what we've done is make a 'SnarkMark' system that tallies up how many tutorials and maps you've made (and their ratings), how many forum posts and comments, and looks at your user rating and calculates a score based on them. This might seem a bit sad, but at the end of the day it helps show other people both how Good and Cool? you are, and how much you've contributed to the site (being more reliable than going by forum post count or member number). If you don't care, great, just ignore it. Also note that the figure might be wrong as it isn't recalculated very often.

Yea you can make something like that, mind you its not as easy are it looks though.

There was a tutorial about it somewhere but I forget.

/me pulls out the mapping bible (actually just a binder covered in duct tape saying "Mapping"

Lets see, camera tutorial...

ReNo's tuts...triggers...retinal scanner...teleporters...rotating weapons...turrets...waterfalls...lasers...ahh. Here we go, the camera.

Yeah, I think it's better to start with a standard DM map for HL, before scripting movie sequences ...

I tried once, I had a camera focus on Freeman as he walked out of a car and into an elevator shaft outdoors, nighting in the rain. Took a long time and looked like crape afterwards
