i had this problem before but somehow i fixed it i tried everyting i re-installed it i reset game config and everything i ran CSS,HL2,HL2epi1, DOD nothing worked the games wont show in SDK drop down anyone and when i click hammer it says no game config to work with can anyone help me?

Oh My God it's so simple....

1.Run SDK

2.When it loads you will see something like "Reset Game Configuration"

3.Click it.

4.You are ready for mapping!

He did already that l00n_Noon.

Uninstall the SDK (back up any maps you have first). Then delete the sdk folder entirely. If I recall steam doesnt actually delete any of its game files...it just flags it as not installed, but never really takes it out. Close down steam and delete the sourcesdk.gcf in your steamapps folder. NOW re install everything. See what happens. Once again, back up any maps you've already made and don't want to lose.
