That could be interesting. However most people here dont know how to use this entity. As well, it is highly complex and requires the knowledge of teleporters as well.
The camera must always have line of sight with the player, without going through a wall. So the player must be teleported when the camera moves.

Um Skeletor, thats a link to my lasers tutorial. Using rigger camera is very easy though. Put the entity trigger_camera in a corner (or wherever you want it) of your room, then give it a name and tick the "freeze player" flag now all you need to do is have a func_button targeting it. Also change the yaw of your trigger_camera so that it point at what you want it to.
Editing help in the maps forum? This should ennoy someone....!

Thats for lasers silly
There is a tut, TealSlut was asking about it too. Beware though. You need to understand how to make a teleporter, how to make a train/elevator (a func_train with paths) and understand the camera entity itself.
<a href=""http://www.vlatitude.com/print_tutorial.php?tutID=23"">http://www.vlatitude.com/print_tutorial.php?tutID=23</a>
thats the tut.
Pretty much, the camera works is simple. You need 2 things. The camera, and the train. The camera is actually a train that follows a set of paths. The train is an invisible brush (can be as small as 1 unit) that follows paths. The camera will have a value to indicate where in what direction it looks. If you put the name of the invisible train, the camera will follow it.
Or you can make the camera focus on the player in which case you dont need the train.

Can I submit a mini-movie that I made for a different contest that's already over? or does it need to be a brand new map?

OK, I've made a trigger_camera but it wasn't easy to control Freeman... and how do I record anything! (I know I maybe should've posted this question in HL editing but hey... forgive me!)

OtZman the best way I can see you recording that would be to hit the screenshot key over and over and edit and re-size them in Windows Movie Maker.
Told ya this wasent easy  but none the less good luck!
