Well I've searched the forums and could not come up with a idea, I am pretty new to the editor and trying to work on a little project. The question I have is, if your model or player is huge in comparison to your city landscape, is there a actual option you do when your compiling to set his/her/it's size ?

Or do you just model your map small to fake the actual size of the player model? But I was also trying to make a ability to get in/out of vehicles, and if I model the city small, when the player gets out of the bigger vehicle the city would be small for him as well ? If I'm correct, so if there is a way that I could assign a size to the models without faking, could you tell me the correct way on doing this. Thanks hopefully noone else posted this, i did do a search and could not find anything.

you can't change the size of any models, player model included. so if you want players to appear big, then you need to make everything else small.

So Im guessing if i wanted to do lets say for only example, to go from a Mech as in Battlefield 2142 to a solider than to a tank, there is no real way to make the models all different sizes? But Isn't there a mod out called, striders ?

Where the player can get into/out of a strider as well as fight them outside of one ?

That's not the size of the player changing, in the strider mod there's simply a camera/point of view positioned above the strider you control, of course this is possible with tanks/mechs and whatnot.

What you can't do is change the size of models in hammer, i.e. add a model, then change it's size like you would change the size of any brush.

What you're trying to do with the whole get in/out of vehicles isn't done in hammer though, you'd need to make a mod for that, perhaps you could contact the stridermod people and ask them for some help.

Ya, I figured It was more on the modding side of things, hmm well I got a lot of work ahead of me cause the way I wanted to I guess code it was to be able to have a strider pov, or actually in the cockpit, Here goes so brain storming  . Thanks for the comments.
