Hello I haven't asked for much help in a while but im desperite right now. I am making a new map and i cannot get these damn combine to spawn twice. I will make it so you can actually try to help me i will put it in the most graphicly way as possible. (cannot do pics because i would have to do alot)

Name: Combine_maker1

Start Disabled: yes

num. of NPCs: 12

frequency: 6

Max Live Npc: 10

name of template npc: combine_template1

radius: 256

name of destination group: (blank)

I have 6 NPC_template_makers and they will spawn they are all named the same and have the same thing/properties.

When i load up the game play threwout my level i get here and they spawn, they attack but do not respawn. i have a timer on the respawn too. My wall breaks and it starts a 250 second countdown till the npc_template_maker is killed.

This may or may not solve your respawn problem, but i know that you only need one template_maker. With one template maker your npc's will spawn within the "radius" around the maker, witch you have as 256.
Its possible that your makers wont respawn because if they activated all 6 of them would, and put you over your max limit of npc's.

If that doesn't work then post your setting for the template its self. That should fill in any missing information.

Ok i removed 5 npc_template_makers which made me 1 left. I kept the same settings for it and got the same result but with only 1 npc spawning. (like i thought) Here is the npc_template properties.

everything that I forget to add here is default.

NPC_Combine_s

name: Combine_template1

weapons: SMG1

number of grenades: 5

model: regular soldier

Tactical Variant: normal tactics

walk easy: no

-Flags That Are Checked-

fall to ground

fade corpse

template npc

other than moving the template maker higher off the ground (try 70 units) I'm out of ideas. Sorry.
If you can't manage to get it to work and no one els has a answer then copy past the maker, template, trigger and timer into a vmf file and i take a look at it.

I have found my answer, and it was that I added my output to my npc_template_maker as 'spawn' not enable. The output spawn only makes 1 combine spawn and not the whole thing. Thank you for helping me.
