Hey guys,

Iam working on my first map. So far it goes really great! Solved many problems myself before posting.

I am making an outdoor Multiplayer map for CS. I have made several ladders and they all work fine except for one.

I made the ladder as usual: Brush with texture metal/metalladder01 and put it against a building. Then the entity of func_usableladder and that one is surrounded by info_dismountladder.

Now in-game I can see through the building via that ladder. It has a nice effect but I dont want it. My other ladders do work perfectly....and I've re-made the ladder and still give me that weird see-through effect. In case you need it, the building texture is building_template\building_template011m

Thanks in advance!

it sounds like the ladder textured brush might be cutting into the wall, or making vvis think it is, causing the face behind it to be discarded. turn the brush into a func_detail, and it should be sorted.

A screenshot would be helpful. A picture says more than a thousand words.
