yes, my machine is a 1.2 ghz with, hmm, say about 300 mbs of ram (it used to be 512, but my dad needed money so he sold some ram.) now i'm stuck on crappy 800X600 because it's so slow. hopefully someone will buy the tv or dvd player, then i get more ram. :biggrin:

Ahhh, I would have to recommend more ram, and maybe you should install windows 2000.

i'd prefer xp, while i hate vista... it's exactly the same thing as that only i prefer xp, while i hat every other os. (except for 98, i like it.)

Running two or more cards that require different drivers is called an heterogeneous multi-adapter environment.

WindowsXP supports the latter situation, but unfortunately not very well and it is usually best to ensure driver homogeneity.
I'm running XP with 3 monitors on 2 cards that use different drivers, and it seems to work fine. Plugged it in and it worked great no bugs. Actually this is one thing where XP is actually pretty good compared to other OS's. I would love to switch from XP to Ubuntu, except for this specific issue! I used linuxes a lot before I got addicted to 3 screens, and i spent a couple days trying to get my setup to work and could never get it right.
