Whats wrong with windows 2000?
Running two or more cards that require different drivers is called an heterogeneous multi-adapter environment.I'm running XP with 3 monitors on 2 cards that use different drivers, and it seems to work fine. Plugged it in and it worked great no bugs. Actually this is one thing where XP is actually pretty good compared to other OS's. I would love to switch from XP to Ubuntu, except for this specific issue! I used linuxes a lot before I got addicted to 3 screens, and i spent a couple days trying to get my setup to work and could never get it right.
WindowsXP supports the latter situation, but unfortunately not very well and it is usually best to ensure driver homogeneity.
