REVIEWS! - Dont Work

Below is the review I was trying to give to the Mario_dust2 map. As you can see I am not that wordy, and can get my thoughts out pretty easy and in less words. a for letter F word comes to mind when I think of this stupid 200 word limit. I know that was an Orpheus idea, it needs to be reviewed and removed.. have you noticed not many reviews because who in the hell has 200 words to say about a map. It should be more than a basic I like this, but 200 words.. maybe a 50 word limit. I can do 50 words I think.

But even after getting 200 words in my review, it would do nothing when I clicked submit. So Larchy you may need to look into that. I even clicked the little stars on the side and nothing. So please fix this... and lower the word count.

This is very creative. I like the star doors, and the kink kupa on the wall. The textures all look very nice, and work real well with what you have. The new skybox is very well done.. I love the idea of the castle on the hill. That gives a real sense of emersion.. one thing you should of added pipes.. even if they went no where. How did you do the little glowing floating clouds? those are boss! I have not played the level yet, but I hope in it you added some Mario sounds too.. like at the start of the round the Mario song. That would be so awesome!

So what else do I say that will make this damn review system 200 words. I think we realy need to review this 200 word minimum review crap.. I am not that mouthy.. must of been an Opheus suggestion, that man could never shut up.

BLAH! But Hey this is a creative idea.. you got 4 stars from me.

To be honest, the 200 word limit thing is silly. I would much rather just post a comment in the maps forum thread than write a 200 word review, even if I will get to 200 words.

Yeah sorry, haven't had time to sort the comments thing out since Gwil said to change it a few days ago. Changes this morning:

Map comments system:
Word limit removed
Rating beside each comment is linked to the rating you gave the map - ie you don't have to keep re-rating the map with every comment you make.
You can now edit and change the rating you gave to a map
Inline comment form added to make replying a bit quicker

Bug:
Removed bug that stopped notification of pms being shown at the top of the page

Watching system:
Big problems with this, wasn't working at all. Recoded and should now be working fine for all maps/articles/downloads/forum posts.

Possibly you failed to tick the "add poll" option before pressing "submit".

I have removed this box and modified the script so that it simply detects whether you have filled the poll options out or not - should be easier for people.

Updated:
(for both light and dark themes)
maps.css & maps_ie.css to support changes to the maps page and layout of the comments+inline reply box
forums.css to correct the vote button on forums polls being dark on the light theme
no dark theme button for "post comment" on the maps page - added one.

If you experience any layout issues please ctrl-refresh the page to reload the stylesheets.
