Heard about this on the radio today, a bit of trivia. This prototypical video game was created 50 years ago this week.

Y'all can thank Higinbotham for your current video game habits! Turns out that he never applied for patent on this technology, which is a good thing, because it would have belonged to the US Gov't.

Pretty interesting stuff haymaker. Its pretty cool to think about how far video games have come and where they will be in 50 years.
