not so keen on the excessive box use & there is a lack of coloured lighting also.

I'm with Korn on this, more coloured lighting would be nice. At the moment I relly think you need to break up your white strip lighting - having white as the main light colour is fine, having light strips is fine, but having light strips that are just lots of light fixtures repeated over and over looks bad. I suggest you replace the texture with a less obviously repeating one (one that is MEANT as a light strip), or you break the strip up into spaced out individual fixtures somehow.
On a positive note, there is some interesting architecture in here, I particularly like the doorway that is linked at an off 90 angle.
