Actually for a first time mapper you aren't doing too bad. It is good to see you have a grasp of the editor. But some advice. Use textures that are meant for certain surfaces. In one of those shots you appear to have something that was meant for a small trim or something assigned to the roof. Also take a look at real architecture and see how strength and reinforcement is needed in buildings. You have some very thin stuff in there and some rooms etc without supports.
Also curves come in handy :), HL2 engine is very powerful use it to your advantage and make some things detailed (but not in excess).

Tarky gave some great advice already, but I'd like to add that it's a bit empty and lacking in detail, especially the outside. Add a smattering of physics objects like drums and crates. The buildings would look far better with more details such as window frames etc. Look at how valve did their buildings in the single player game to get ideas. Excellent for a first map.

Its a great start, certainly doesn't suck for a first timer! My main concern outside of what has already been said is that it doesn't feel like a train station. The textures you appear to have gone for are more reminiscent of an industrial area. Take a look at the City 17 train station for more ideas on how to give across a setting convincingly.

Well, maybe it's a freight train station :\
Not sure myself -- it's left up to the mapper! It looked good from my perspective, but something looks a little bland (empty) with the second screen.

which is a better setting...
a abandon semi-industrial train station which is used to handle crates and big boxes with stuff... (more like an outdoor scene)
or...
a train station people use for public transportation (more like an indoor scene)

Neither setting is better. Go with whichever you think you'll be most comfortable building.

I have something for abandoned industrial complexes so my vote goes to that one.
At the same time, architecturally speaking, public areas are more interesting to map if you like lots of architectural detail.
You choose.
