I think hideous would be more correct than cheap. I don't how, but you've managed to make the source engine look like the HL engine. Everything seems really out of scale. You are aware that terrain is largely created using displacement surfaces, not the old fashioned brush way, right?
The indoor areas pretty good, if a bit sparse, you just need to do some serious work on you outdoor areas and that rocket platform.
