Here's a question that's been floating around in my mind for quite some time: Does the snarkpit not have a server for hl2dm or css?

Not sure.

Some server was shown on the older version of the site, not sure if it's around anymore.

No. We used to run a HL2DM server but it was a bugger to finance.

We can't afford one because of the economy.

Well, If someone who does happen to own a hl2dm server and wants to step up, I'm sure larchy could include a way for us to 'present' them on the front page of the Pit. We could list the map rotation and the titles of the maps would link to their snarkpit profile. -Just like it used to be.

But yea, someone with money for a server (whether affiliated with SnarkPit or not) would have to inquire about the idea. All we can do is give them exposure. :uncertain:

gameservers is dirt cheap. I rented a 10 slot private hl2dm for some snarkpit thing awhile ago, it was 5 buck a month. All you ahve to do is put the PW in the server name.

I also rent a 10 slot public there that features a few 'pit maps in rotation. But I don't want to focus strictly on that as there are plenty of good maps not from here.

If i ever get a job, I'll put the snarkpit's hl2dm or css server's up, ok guys?

(It's about 9 bucks a month for a decent server, i think I'll manage financial wise :>)
