Like the title says, are custom made Left 4 Dead maps compatible with Left 4 Dead 2?
I heard this before but I forgot.

I'm subscribed to the L4D mailing list, and in there, Chet Faliszeck said that yes, L4D 1 maps should and will be compatible with L4D 2. But the maps will not be directly compatible, so you will need to undergo some entity changes, but not many, mostly for weapon placements.

And this topic belongs in the Source Editing forum moved :D

Ok that's good to know, thanks Riven.

Sorry for posting this in the wrong section, I thought it belonged here because it was mainly a question, and no editing question. But when you think about it the other way around you are right I guess :lookup:
