WADS

I found some CD's that I saved a bunch of my old maps on. Problem is they are in wad or rmf formats. How do I convert these for the modern tools set, so that I can go in and edit them? The reason I ask is because I made a map back in the day with a 5 stop elevator and I want to take that map and offer it to NIB so he can see how I did it back in the day, as I think he is working in the older tool set anyways.

Maybe there is an easier way than the following:

I Downloaded Wally, converted the WAD to TGA's and then used VTF edit to convert the TGA's to vtf,vtm's. I made a folder called Custom in my cstrike/materials folder. Still no textures in hammer.. looking for a fix.

We fixed it..no worries.

This question is like a flashback to 1999 :P
