I wonder if this will ever be finished and released. I think it defiantly has potential to be pretty awesome! :D

Looks cool. Dumb question: Are you going to be able to race in it like MarioKart?

Yeah that would make sense. I think it will feel like driving in the car from HL2.

I hope it doesn't drive like the buggy from hl2, that thing get's a bit difficult after a while. Something of a hassle more than fun sometimes. I think that may be in part why they didn't introduce it until after you gained the gravity gun, because for all the accidents and run-ins you might have come to, you would need that to flip it back every time.

Granted, the physics are super excellent, and are somewhat shotty in HL2DM, which I would imagine, the type of code they'll be using in this mod. It could still be run.

I hope they'd tweak the driving physics, only because MarioKart, never really was known for its super realistic driving physics. Nevertheless, I think something like this could be completely viable in the Source engine, only because the physics are there to perhaps take it an extra inch, and make it its own identity. Looks fun though.

I hope the karts wouldn't handle like the hl2 buggy either.

I think it would be cool if you could steer with the mouse to sort of get that analog feel to it as opposed to using the keys to steer.

If they handle a little better than the Battlefield vehicles it'd probably be good.

Depends if they want free aiming for the items or not.

Also, I don't get why you'd put all this work into something you can't really ensure you'll be able to release. Why wouldn't you just take all your ideas and apply them to an original setting. Mod makers always set themselves up for the cease and desist then get pissed off at the copyright holders, it makes very little sense.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Yeah but what I really meant is like they use the buggy's code for it, but ofcourse they will tweak it a bit.
