Today I started Portal again, but even when I have the right settings in the options menu, I cannot see through portals. They just appear entirely blue or orange (the effect you see normally when only one portal is available)
I tried some stuff in the video options menu, I tried to play in windowed mode, I updated my video card drivers, but nothing seems to work so far.
Any ideas?
Edit: It worked fine before. A re-install doesn't do the trick either. I tried to verify the game files as well, or defragment the files, but nothing worked so far.
Edit 2: I came up with an idea to change the Direct X mode from 9.0 to 7.0 and now I can see through them just fine! The game doesn't look as nice as before but this is much better.
To change the Direct X level, right click on the steam game you want to change, press properties, and go to Set Launch Options. Then write "-dxlevel 70" or any other version you want to have.
Edit 3: I downgraded my Nvidia drivers to version 285.58 and now they are working fine again!
