If you guys are unfamiliar there's a regular collection of games bundled together and put up at
https://www.humblebundle.com/
It's probably the most fiscally responsible way you could hoard games. It's a way for independent publishers and developers to get their games in the hands of people who might not play them otherwise. And, you can choose what to pay and where your money goes.
You can split between the people running the service (web and organization costs) the developers, and Child's Play charity (it helps get video games and toys and such into the hands of children whom have terminal illness') And you can split it however you like.
The payment usually goes like this, you pay whatever you want to access the games above like $1. But if you pay higher than average, you get the "upper tier" title they're offering.
Right now, they're running a THQ bundle (they apparently need all the charity they can get, it seems) ... and it's an insane offering.
Darksiders
Metro 2033
Red Faction Armageddon
Company of Heroes
Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
Are pay what you want (sound tracks included)
Pay above average price (currently $5.49 USD) and you also get Saints Row the Third.
If you pay above $1, you get steam keys for all games (these are only steam versions, normally games are offered platform agnostic and DRM free)
Normally, when they do a numbered bundle, they'll just start throwing in other games as time goes on. You either have to have already purchased the bundle or pay more than average to get those.
Anyway, everyone should check it out. THQ is actually on it's last legs.
Update:
It looks like the current THQ bundle is also supporting donations to Red Cross.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.
