Ha, he took him to see the Day of Defeat team. I could never do that without being kicked out - I'd just walk into their room and scream "KALT SUCKED!" and get into a fight with whoever looked most offended. It would be awesome.

It was a guy named Spitcodfry who got a tour of Valve's offices in Washington.

Spit took pictures of alot of the building and even got some pics of concept art for HL2.  He got a pic with Gabe too and one of the lead DoD guys.

Not a whole lot of new info, but Gabe did say that HL2 will have a gold announcement soon and the release date is still Sept 30.

It's a good read.  Kinda lifted my spirits on the release of HL2 tbh.
