I want to be able to get overviews for BLUE SHIFT, the problem is that blue shift doesn't have the " DEV_OVERVIEW 1" function.  Can anyone explain to me, in extreme detail, how to play blue shift levels in either Hlf-life or Opposing force.

Thanks for any responses.

would you be able to just copy the .bsp and necessary files into the valve directory and load them in HL?

Wasn't this posted in the editing help forum a week or two back? I'm pretty sure it was answered too...

while were on the subject, how do you make an overview? I mean I just tested dev_overview 1 but do you just take a shot of it & leave it as bmp in overviews or do you have to size or or use a command to take the shot etc etc?

Doh! Don't give Korn a link after I spend an hour making a tutorial last night!

You're a bad bad man!

Though saying that - looking at the tutorial you linked to, mine might be wrong  Well, either mine is, or his is

I have tried to copy all of the bsp's and all of the files from blue shift, but it gives me a dll error.  something like "could not link func_HUD move" and crashes. any more ideas?
