Actually, that thing is very useful. And just to let you know they beat Microsoft to the bunch, who of which would have charged you money. This program makes a lot of sense if you have a lot of files you manually use. Or if you have a server or something as such. Because it blows away the built in Windows search functionality.

Just because they made a search engine, an online mail client, and a software search engine, doesn't mean they know how to even begin making an OS. Not that MS does (they built upon an OS they bought, DOS).

Because it actually searches instead of fileing reports about the content of your computer.

google desktop search is teh win!

my god that is an awesome tool! through mozilla as well! its running a private local adress only web server :o

and its secure and mozilla compatable!

I'll give this app a try later, when I have my own comp. Sounds cool though.
