-glview is the parameter you want to use with vbsp, not the command. I presume you're trying an expert compile, in which case just add it in VBSP's 'parameters' box on that screen.

It goes in the "parameter" box on the right hand side there, NOT as a new command. I'll write a compiling guide and put it, have a look at that in a while.

Thanks for trying to help me leperous, but i still can't get my head around this glview thingy, whenever i try to run it it either doesn't seem to do anything or gives me a list of parameters which don't make a whole lot of sense to me. im sure its staring me in the face, but its bugging the hell out of me.
first i noticed the leaf problem was after i installed a projecter and used the project decal entity, i've since deleted it but im still having the problem.
I've updated my image to show the way i have the expert tab set up - thanks to your tutorial. could you please point me as to what i'm doing wrong now :smile:
