Just a couple of quick question, i have a large volume of water in my map, but when i shoot it, only certain sections produce bullet splashes. Do i need more env_cubemap entity's?

What should be the minimum and max distances for the cheap water on this scale?

Any help would be great.

Cheers

Ben

You have the water set up so that it looks correct? I mean, does it appear that EVERYTHING is working as it should except the bullet splashes?

Yeah, i just copied it from that sdk_water map and inlarged it. I was just experimenting. The bullet splashes work fine on that map it just seems to f**k up when increasing the surface area.

Do you think its the skybox that is making the lighting so dark?

Well...light_env s originate from the skybox...so it could be, if the skybox isn't set up right or the light entity isn't. I think.
