when using the "wood3a" model with func_physics_multiplayer i can shoot it and it splinters but i can't pick it up or put anything ontop of it. I can just walk right through it...

any ideas?

hl2 deathmatch uses normal func_physics (i think you mean prop_physics?) for objects that can be picked up and thrown

When you're writing your replys Ziv, mark them as answers in the drop
down menu under the text entry box. This way, the question will be
marked as solved and be in the database if others have the same query.
You'll also recieve some snarkmarks.

i have been thinking it was just me, but there have been a lot of people posting this way of late.

/me wonders.

would it be better to have both options side by side, instead of a drop down box hiding one response?

i prefer the drop down, its cleaner of design, but its not idiot proof.

opinions?

[edit]

actually, me is going to post this in site/suggestions.

You can't pick up bits of debris like that in hl2dm, it's impossible. The broken bits of anything that breaks cannot be picked up. This goes for all wooden objects, explosive barrels, sinks, toilets etc. However you can make them respawn, I think with prop_physics_respawnable or something. This is done with the explosive barrels in both maps included with hl2dm, and I think with the sinks and toilets in Lockdown aswell.
