If there is more than two floors to go between these can get pretty complicated...so is that what you want? Also, people haven't had too much luck riding on func_doors or func_linears, but I think func_tracktrain works fine, so it's possible to make an elevator...of course :smile: If you can find a tutorial for HL1 regarding elevators I think it's about the same, except that you have to use a tracktrain instead of just train.

You'll find theres a nice elevator model too, if you want it industrial style. If normal office style elevator then you could either make a model yourself or made it brush based.

Please try harder to actually search the forum next time.

As it stands there is not a problem free method that I have worked out for lifts in HL2DM. I suspect that you will need to use a func_tracktrain in order to get a stutter free lift.
