ive put a section of stair rails in my map but they are comming out semi permiable the texture is right but i dont know what the heck is going on. i think i might need a env_cubemap placed and brushed onto the texture but i dunno what should i do?

Semipermeable...semipermeable membrane...isn't that a biology term? Anyway, what exactly do you mean? The texture is fine, but..?

If you mean you can walk through the object this exact topic has already been covered here.

nonono what i mean is that the object exists but the texture is able to bee seen through its like half transparent instead of a metal pole.

By the way im aware that semipermable is a bioligy term :biggrin:

Are you sure you're not using a texture that is meant to have transparant parts in it?

Have you tested with various textures already?
